Do you allow guests under 21?
We card everyone at the door but permit underage folks to join us at tables.
Do you accept reservations for “just drinks”?
We accept reservations for dining but cannot honor them for "just drinks". Cancellation fees will apply. If you are joining us for drinks, just walk into the bar!

What is the Omakase at Shore Leave?
This is a separate experience offered Sunday-Wednesday. If you are not familiar with Omakase, it translates to "I trust you", meaning you are trusting the sushi chef to curate your meal of approximately 12 courses. Expect a variety of bites including nigiri, sashimi, and tempura. The meal is timed to be a 45-minute experience. Please try to arrive 10 minutes before your reservation. Seatings take place at our sushi counter.
When is Karaoke?
We host “The People’s Karaoke” Tuesdays from 9:30 to close! No cover! Reservations to sing are not necessary!
Do you have live music?
We host the Electric Heaters, a retrosonic surf noir band, from 8-10pm on Thursdays.
Do you have valet or parking?
VALET SERVICE
We cannot currently offer valet services.
PARKING VALIDATION
Shore Leave offers discounted parking for the lot at the corner of Albany Street & Traveler Street, INK UNDERGROUND (Laz Lot #5, 90 Traveler St.). The lot is located beneath Interstate 93. Please bring your parking ticket to the host stand for a validation sticker. Parking costs $5 per car and can be paid in the lot.
PLEASE NOTE: If the attendant/auto-attendant does not issue a ticket, you are in the wrong lot.
We do not validate for the parking lot requiring a credit card upfront.
PUBLIC PARKING
There is metered parking along Harrison Avenue. Please do not park in the Whole Foods lot. That lot is monitored and vehicles will be towed.
What is your cancellation policy?
We require a credit card for all reservations. Please cancel within 24 hours of the reservation, otherwise you may be charged $25 per person. No-show reservations will be charged $25 per person. Shore Leave will issue a gift card for the fee and must be picked up in person at Shore Leave within 2 weeks of the reservation. Please email info@barmezzana.com
Can you accommodate food allergies?
Shore Leave is happy to accommodate food allergies. Please note them in your reservation or call the restaurant at 617-530-1775 for assistance.
Do you accept reservations?
Reservations are accepted via Opentable 30 days in advance. Please note reservations will not be accepted via voicemail, email, or social media.
Bar seating is first come, first serve
What do I do if I am running late?
Please call 617-530-1775. We hold reservations for 15 minutes. If you are tardy it may limit your time dining with us if we have other parties behind you.
Can I bring my own cake/dessert?
Please notify the restaurant in advance if you are planning to bring a cake. We charge $3 per person for a cake plating fee.
Can I bring my own wine?
Liquor laws do not permit the consumption of beverages brought from off premise.
Do you have time limitations?
We do not have strict limitations, but please keep in mind, 1-2 guests are expected to dine with us for 1.5 hours, 3-4 guests for 2 hours, 5-6 guests for up to 2.5 hours, and 7 or more for 3 hours
Do you accept large parties?
Shore Leave has limited availability for large parties. We accept reservations for up to 15 guests Sunday-Wednesday via OpenTable. Thursday-Saturday we accept reservations up to 8. For all other inquiries, please fill out the EVENT INQUIRY FORM, and we'll get back to you within 48 hours.
Is No Relation affiliated with Shore Leave?
No Relation is a small tasting counter located within Shore Leave but is an entirely separate experience and reservation. Reservations for No Relation are made through OpenTable.
